PREMIUM DELIVERY SERVICE

DELIVERY RADIUS AND FEES

White Oak Home strives to deliver your furniture with outstanding customer service.  For $199, we offer an in-home furniture delivery service within a 25-mile radius of our store in Westwood, NJ.  Additional fees may apply for deliveries beyond a 25-mile radius; we will contact you with a revised delivery fee before processing your order. 

 

Your furniture will be delivered by experienced, white glove delivery professionals.  White glove delivery service includes: 

  • Delivery to your room of choice (includes up and down one flight of stairs)

  • Unpacking / uncrating 

  • Positioning and setup 

  • Removing of all packaging

MEASURING FOR YOUR FURNITURE DELIVERY

It is your responsibility to ensure that all furniture items will fit through any access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators and around corners into your desired location. Here are some tips to make sure your items will fit at the time of your delivery:

  • Confirm all product dimensions: our website provides the height, width and depth of every item.  If you are unsure about an item fitting in your home, please contact us​.

  • Measure your space: Identify where you intend to place your furniture and confirm that all items will fit in your space. Floor-planning tools are a great way to visualize how your furniture will fit.  We like floorplanner.com (it's free to use)!

  • Measure your doorways, stairways and passages: Determine the best pathway from outside your home to the room where your furniture will be placed. Measure every doorway, elevator, staircase and hallway that the item will pass through.

Note: In the event an item does not fit in your home, you will be responsible for return shipping expenses, which will be deducted from the refund of the item.  For more information on returns, please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy.

SPECIAL DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS

At the time of scheduling your delivery, please notify us of any special requirements, such as the need for small trucks to navigate narrow roads and driveways, restricted delivery time frames due to local ordinances, gated entry access, proof of insurance for high rise and condominium buildings, multiple flights of stairs or service elevator reservations.

PREPARING FOR YOUR DELIVERY

Please note that our delivery professionals are not permitted to move furniture currently in your home.  They are also not allowed to move or set up electrical equipment.

Before our delivery team arrives, please prepare your home:

  • Clear a path, moving any furniture or artwork that is in the way

  • Secure low-hanging light fixtures

  • Set rugs in place

  • Confine pets to another room

We ask that you closely inspect your item(s) before our delivery professionals leave your home.  In the event an item is damaged, you have complete right to refuse delivery and have the item returned at no cost to you.  You may be asked to complete a damage claim form.
